SNAPSHOT OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Belle McIntyre’s lifelong passion has been photography. Although she has pursued various creative endeavors in the decorative and visual arts, her camera has always been on hand and gone with her to the far-flung places that she has roamed. Her photographic images capture the remarkable and exotic essence of the places that she has explored.

Belle’s formal training began at the International Center for Photography (ICP) in New York. Further study has taken her to Santa Fe where she learned the intricacies and artistic effects of early non-silver techniques such as platinum and palladium printing.

She was recently given a one person show at Steven Harris Architects studio in Tribeca which featured her South Asian “Archi-Texture” series. The show was a total success, garnering both praise and press from the New York art community. The recent piece in RAVE Sq. Magazine (which can be seen on this web site) celebrates Belle’s show and features some of her Indian images.

All of the work can be replicated in various sizes on a variety of papers in limited editions. She is also available for custom commissions. Contact her via e-mail:
